What AxleFile is — and isn't

AxleFile is software that helps motor carriers organize compliance records, track deadlines, and produce organized document binders. AxleFile is not a law firm, a consultant, or a government filing service, and nothing in the product is legal advice. Using AxleFile does not guarantee that you will pass any audit, inspection, or review. Responsibility for complying with federal and state regulations remains yours, the carrier's, at all times.

Your account

You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in method secure, and be authorized to act for the company you register. You are responsible for activity under your account, including office users you add.

Your data

Documents and records you or your drivers upload belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them solely to provide the service. You can export your records at any time, and if you cancel, you can export everything before your account closes. You confirm you have the right to upload the documents you upload, including your drivers' documents, and that you have told your drivers how their documents will be used.

Payment

Plans are billed monthly at a flat price, in advance, and you can cancel anytime — cancellation stops future charges and your plan runs through the paid period. Trials are free and require no card. Founding-member pricing stays in effect for as long as the subscription remains active and in good standing.

Acceptable use

Don't use AxleFile to store unlawful content, to violate anyone's rights, to upload records you aren't entitled to hold, or to probe or disrupt the service. We can suspend accounts that do.

The legal limits

The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent the law allows, AxleFile's total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including fines, penalties, out-of-service orders, lost loads, or lost profits. Some jurisdictions limit these limitations; where they do, these terms apply to the fullest extent permitted.

Changes and termination

We may update the service and these terms; material changes will be announced by email before they take effect. You may close your account at any time. We may close accounts for breach of these terms, with export access provided where lawful.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. [Attorney to review: venue and dispute-resolution/arbitration clause.]
